Repair Procedure

  • Clean Up & Registration Recording
    • Essential tyre information are recorded for all tyres enter our workshop, and kept in our database to track the life cycle of the tyre.

  • Initial Inspection
    • All tyres undergo comprehensive visual inspection and defects / cuts are reported and photographed for client reference. Based on the inspection report, repair cost calculation will be prepared and sent for client approval before proceeding with the work. We will make every effort to safely repair every tyre, but when repair work is not feasible, or the tyre defect is beyond permissible specifications, we will advise our client to scrap the tyre and render it unusable to prevent it from being procured for the used tyre market.

  • Repair Work:
    • Upon receiving client’s approval, repair job card is established, and tyre is scheduled for repair. The right repair method will be applied in accordance with Rema Tip Top procedures, and by using their equipment and materials only.

  • Final Quality Inspection, Marking & Reporting:
    • To complete the repair job card for each tyre, our certified engineer need to check each repaired tyre, mark the modification work on the tyre (if needed), then sign for final quality check.

  • Warranty
    • Since all repairs are carried out within the permissible limits set by Rema-Tip-Top and according to their approved methods and materials, we offer standard 2 years warranty on each repair.
